Love’s Jubilee

“A new concept of celebrations beneath the human underground must emerge, become conscious, and be shared, so a revolution can be formed with a renaissance of compassion, awareness, and love, and the revelation of unity for all mankind.”

A jubilee is often a celebration for the anniversary of something unique. These celebrations often occur at the 25th, 40th, and 50th year milestones of said distinction. I find it fitting to discuss with you all, the significance of Love’s Jubilee, and not pertaining to my own 40th birthday, which happens to have fallen today.

I am quite surprised that I made it to forty – in one piece – I am looking towards the golden Jubilee of Fifty. The next ten years are going to be taken a little slower than the previous twenty-five. One could say I plan on taking the scenic route with a more precautionary standard towards my well-being. I plan on living this life to its fullest extent and that is not at the bottom of a bottle.

As I look back and visualize the goals I had set for myself by the time I was forty, I have one that sticks out the most, and that is – whatever you do start writing again. I guess that makes up for not being retired.

I will leave you with a small excerpt from my next blog post – “Love’s Jubilee”

Here we are fifty golden years removed from 1967, or more aptly put, The Summer Of Love. The Summer Of Love was a polite revolution in which well over a hundred thousand, young men and women stood up what they believed in, Love. It was a time when music and compassion was most honest. The following is a quote from a “hippie” newspaper called the San Francisco Oracle, it was more or less the conducive element that triggered a revolution of love, fifty years ago. This quote really managed to strike a chord within me.

“A new concept of celebrations beneath the human underground must emerge, become conscious, and be shared, so a revolution can be formed with a renaissance of compassion, awareness, and love, and the revelation of unity for all mankind.”

This late 60’s in America was almost as unstable as we are at the time of this article’s publishing. It is disturbing that the rhetoric of hate is coming from all sides of a supposed “United” front. Compassion is something that has always been circular in motion and it’s up to us, “We The People”, to understand this with thorough clarification.

It is important to understand the whole divide and conquer strategy before we carry on with the “agenda” of this conversation. Come back and visit soon.

Until the weekend I leave you with a poem from “The Tao of Pooh” and a song from me.

To know the Way,

We GO the Way;

We DO the Way

The way we do

The things we do.

It’s all there in front of you,

But if you try too hard to see it,

You’ll only become Confused.

I am me,

And you are you,

As you can see;

But when you do

The things that YOU can do,

You will find the Way,

And the Way will follow you.

The mystery of the Cross, it rests in us all.  All things connect at the cross.  There is no balance on the left or right.  Balance is only achieved at the core.  See you soon.
